Park Alerts ( 4 Alerts )

  • **UPDATE**  As of 7/3/2017 we are operating half of the features in the spray-park as we continue to troubleshoot the water leak.  As long as we can maintain the water pressure, we will keep on as many features as we can.

Beginning today, 6-26-2017, the spray-park portion of our swimming pool has been shut down due to a water leak. The swimming pool side remains open. Park staff is working diligently to isolate the leak and repair it as soon as possible.

  • Pool season dates are as follows. We are open May 27-29, June 3-4, June 10-August 20, August 26-27, and finally September 2-4.

  • Pool prices at Codorus Sate Park have changed for the 2017 season. There is now a Weekend and Holiday rate. PA Resident prices are Monday-Friday 11am - 4pm, $7, after 4pm $4. Saturday-Sunday and Holidays PA Resident prices are 11am-4pm, $10, after 4pm $5. Non-PA Resident prices are Monday-Friday 11am-4pm, $12, after 4pm $8. Saturday-Sunday and Holidays Non-PA Residents prices are 11am-4pm $15, after 4pm, $10. Season Pass rates have not changed, and you MUST come to the park office to purchase one. To get PA rates ID is REQUIRED. This can be a school ID, driver's license, etc.

  • Contrary to the information on Google, Pennsylvania state parks are open every day of the year. Day use areas close at dusk. Park offices are open specific hours. Pools, beaches, and campgrounds are open specific seasons.

Park Description

The 3,452-acre Codorus State Park is in the rolling hills of southern York County. The 1,275-acre Lake Marburg has 26 miles of shoreline and is a reststop for migrating waterfowl and shorebirds. The lake is also popular with sailboaters and motorboaters. Anglers love the lake for warm water fishing and can also fish Codorus Creek for trout. Picnicking, swimming in the pool and camping are popular activities.
