Park Alerts ( 2 Alerts )

  • Due to the ongoing construction and replacement of a bridge on Kellys Swamp Lane, the primary campground access road will be temporarily closed at its gate until the bridgework is completed. Access to the modern cabins, beach house, beach, and pavilions will still be available using normal routes.  If attempting to get to campsites in Loop A or Loop B you must gain access to the campgrounds on the north side of the park through the temporary entrance on Hills Creek Park Road adjacent to Loop D.  After picking up your permit at the Park Office please exit the park using Spillway Road over the dam.  At the stop sign make a right onto Hills Creek Lake Road.  Continue northbound on Hills Creek Lake Road and make a right at the next available intersection onto Hills Creek Park Road.  Approximately one quarter mile on Hills Creek Park Road you will see the temporary entrance into the Hills Creek campground to your right.  Enter the park through the temporary entrance.  At the stop sign make a left onto Kellys Swamp Lane and follow it through Loop C into Loop B or Loop A and your campsite.  Thank you for your patience while we finish up this project.

  • Contrary to the information on Google, Pennsylvania state parks are open every day of the year. Day use areas close at dusk. Park offices are open specific hours. Pools, beaches, and campgrounds are open specific seasons.
