Trail Description

Located four miles north of Coatesville off Route 82 is the Hibernia County Park. Trails, play areas, woodlands, meadows, open fields, pavilions, camping, and picnic areas are located throughout the park. Popular fishing sites include the Brandywine Creek’s west branch, Birch Run, and a children’s pond. Small boating and fishing occur on the 90-acre Chambers Lake. Hibernia Mansion, colonial home of Franklin Swayne, is open for public tours on Sunday afternoons from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
