The 6 to 10 Trail follows the historic Allegheny Portage Railroad and Inclined planes in Blair County from the park Visitor Center to the Duncansville Trailhead. The 6 to 10 Trail is made of crushed stone, packed dirt and grass. It winds though a lush forest and includes an original inclined plane rail bed. This trail passes historic structures including Engine Houses 8 and 10 and a Skew Arch Bridge. The portion from our Visitor Center in Cresson/Gallitzin to the Muleshoe Curve (Hollidaysburg Reservoir area) is HIKING ONLY. The trail from Muleshoe east to our Duncansville trailhead is HIKING and BIKING.
