Trail Description

Souder’s Trail is located in Parker Dam State Park, Clearfield County. The trail head is located along the south side of Fairview Road, 200 yards past the park office and opposite the ball field. This scenic loop trail features Laurel Run creek, cool hemlock-shaded bottoms, lush meadows and large hardwood and evergreen trees. The trail connects with the Skunk Trail for the return loop. Points of Interest: “Holding Back the Splash” interpretive board (interprets the splash wall used in the 1870’s for logging), Grandfather Pine (largest white pine in the park), and beautiful Laurel Run creek.
